King of beauty queens

Ever wonder why Venezuelan women have been winning pageants year after year.????

In Venezuela beauty is born and made. Overseeing it all is Osmel Sousa. In Venezuela, and
perhaps the world, he is the King of Beauty Queens.

Venezuela has learned how to manufacture beauty --

Venezuelans will tell you that one advantage they have in the beauty game is their exotic mixture of
people and races. The country boasts Mediterranean, northern European, African and indigenous
bloodlines.

Apart from that as Sousa likes to say, "God created these beautiful women --
but he also created plastic surgeons." Sousa is very open about the fact that women
who train at his school get plastic surgery.

Dr. Petr Romer is the official plastic surgeon to the Miss Venezuela Pageant and -- not surprisingly --
one of the most popular plastic surgeons in Caracas. Romer said he did some discreet nips,
tucks and lifts on about half of the 20 Miss Venezuela finalists, including five nose jobs,
six breast implants and three liposuctions.

2008 Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza sculpted her way to her title last year.
It has been reported that Miss Mendoza had the tip of her nose reshaped, implants
and liposuction to remove fat around her knees.

Each year hundreds of women flock to his boot camp in the hopes of being the next
Miss Venezuela. Sousa and his team of personal trainers, dental surgeons, and plastic surgeons
put the women through a grueling three to six month program to make them into a Barbie doll.

Even though we all not for plastic surgery ,I think these women should inspire us to take care
of ourselves . It is also possible to look beautiful without any surgery all you need
to do is take care of your skin, exercise, eat healthy and groom yourself whenever you can,
its important to go for regular facials, manis and pedis, and hair treatments too,
and the great thing is you can do it yourself.

Sensualissime entrambe. Chi era la regina degli anni '60?

A 10-Year Anniversary for Botox: The Molecule that Rocked the Cosmetic World

A patient's progress with Botox: before, after seven days, and after three months.

It was in the early 90s that dermatologist Dr. Fredric Brandt first heard about the up-and-coming injectable Botox. “I was at an American Academy of Dermatology conference, and I was intrigued by the idea,” he says. “But I remember thinking that it seemed so foreign to treat the face with something that would paralyze it.” Now, the only crazy thing about Botox is how successful it’s become in the 10 years since the F.D.A. approved it for cosmetic use. Nearly 11.8 million procedures have been done since 2002, and 6 million women ask their doctors about Botox every year. As Dr. Brandt puts it, “It’s become the cosmetic aspirin.”

I am always looking at how other women pull their long hair back, especially with a center part line

elena look

If my blog ever featured a look of the day this surely would be one of the looks I’d include. I’m in love with the lilac theme she has going, from her lace up sandals (you can never go wrong with gladiator sandals in Italy, I should know I wore mine out in Rome but the pictures turned out lovely!!) to her loose and chunky sweater. Elena Perminova pays a great deal of attention to the details, and it shows in this feminine look.

a little take on Japan-日本,

" The Japanese take the idea of onomatopoeia a bit further than most languages, assigning "sounds" to actions, states and conditions in creative ways. For example, a person's eyes shining brightly makes the "sound" kira kira, or kyoro kyoro if they're moving from side to side, looking around. Pika pika means "brand new," literally describing the sound of gleaming streaks of sparkling newness, though it also describes the sound of crackling electricity, as any Pikachu fan knows. Bishi bishi means working fast and efficiently while dara dara is moving slowly, lazily. Eating quickly is paku paku, where Pac-Man gets his name from, and someone who is bilingual in a foreign language speaks it pera pera (fluently), which seems to be what English spoken rapidly sounds like to non-fluent Japanese people.

There are two words for "love" in Japanese, too, and if you want to have some fun ask your Japanese friends what the difference between them is -- they'll stumble as they try to come up with a way to explain the difference. The two words are koi, which describes romantic love, said to be easy to flare up but also easy to cool; and ai, a higher kind of love used for family or anyone who's very dear to you, as well as the steady, slow-burning love of a marriage. These two words are combined into a compound word to make a general word for all aspects of love, which is ren'ai, a term that's also used for the eroge and visual novels.

A woman I have known for many years did something to her face not all that long ago, and for a few weeks afterward, I was not able to put my finger on it. Did she get her eyes done? Restylane injections? Botox? Then I thought, she got a face-lift.
Then one day, about a month later, I ran into her at a party and she looked stunning. The puffiness had settled, the fire under the skin had gone out. Even her lips looked like they belonged on her face. They were shaped just like her old lips, but … juicier. Her whole face looked as if it had been pushed out and plumped up—not unlike a slightly tired but still very stylish down-filled sofa that looks almost new if you keep those cushions fluffed. I cannot say that she looked exactly like her old self—but so close! A fantastic approximation! An uncanny resemblance! She looks like a very impressive artist’s rendering of her.

Facelift

The skin tends to sag and fold as the body ages. The skin of the face, most especially, is no exception. Rhytidectomy, popularly known as a facelift, removes excess fat. It tightens the skin on the face and neck. The procedure tightens and strengthens the skin, giving the face a firmer and younger look. A facelift usually takes about ten days to three weeks recovery time.
As you get older you have a choice to face the scalpel....to get a facelift.....this ladies chose not to and age definitely is showing.....

And this celebs do care how they age...and what they have in common that they all had their facelifts done with my M.D....my Doctor Michaelangelo-Dr Steven M Hoefflin....he is an artist...

MY PARTING SHOTS

Dukhoon Malaki is a a fragrant paste to burn in your home. The aroma is sublime it does not make much smoke. This make for an interesting gift even for the most elegant of your friends.

Yesterday I started thinking… trying to at any rate…
About inspiration and resonation.
Why certain elements appeal to us… Why they trigger and stimulate our creative souls.
For each person, the components are different… that’s why artists see their worlds differently and writers can conjure up phrases with such depth and cleverness.
I often ponder what pulls the triggers and ignites such brilliance in designers, in architects… in poets and musicians… in photographers.
I am constantly amazed at how we can view the world with the same eyes and yet our visions can be far apart.
Each and every creative has an altered viewpoint, a definite perception to stimulate their talent.
Beauty energises my creative side…  in the ordinary and in the extraordinary. And I surrounded by beauty daily......

Gucci

If you are a fan of the early 70s , the you will love the Gucci SS15 show. Designer Frida Giannini sent out a collection that she told Vogue is “an evolution from fall”. A smart move since the fall collection was terrific. I love these four looks above, they certainly make getting dressed easy.

Gaga's status has risen for me......and she was quite vulgar but she meant well.......

Gaga at the end of her performance in Israel on September 13, 2014, said: "You are strong, you are brave, you are confident, and I f*cking love you, Israel.” “I f*cking love you, Israel.” Maybe she says the same kind of thing everywhere she goes. But you know what? That was a great thing to say to Israel, to Israelis, at the end of this awful summer. I don’t remember any international statesman saying anything remotely like it.
