Je crois que je n’ai jamais vu une casquette de marin qui avait autant la classe
près l’invasion de bonnets en laine et de capelines en feutre, c’est vraiment un look que j’adore. Hyper pratique pour l’hiver (mais différent !), avec ces cheveux coincés dans la veste en cuir qui donnent une petite touche parisienne. Devant ce look, je ne vois plus l’hiver … mais plutôt un port de pêche en Méditerranée ou une rue du 1er arrondissement

I think the 2005 show was the best ever and the Russian Girls had a lot to the with it........
Not only were Tyra Banks, and Gisele Bundchen a part of the runway event; making it memorable, but many Real life Russian babes walked the stage including the iconic Natasha Poly, starring in you guessed it the Sexy Russian Babes Segment. Eugenia Volodina and Tatiana Kovylina are the other two, but I can’t get over Natasha Poly’s look I could barely recognize her without her blonde locks, she looks so young!
Eugenia Volodina starts the segment, wearing an outfit in a vivid shade of Russian Red. The backdrop is transformed into a mock Russia with effigies of orthodox churches. But as Eugenia begins to walk the runway, the mood is set with the opening song, with the hums of the soviet song “Plaine Ma Plaine” (Meadowland), that is turned into a mashup with Snoop Doggs “Drop It Like It’s Hot” for a modern twist. The rest of the costumes bring to life Russian military elements, the elegance of Imperial Russia, and high heeled, over the knee faux fur trimmed boots.

2005 was the year when VS played with fantasy, the costumes were both opulent and edible. The segments were incredible, one that has stayed in my mind was called “Sexy Russian Babes”,

An interesting aspect of running a business in Japan is hiring staff. Rather than a freestyle résumé which lists a person's achievements (and shows you how good they are at preparing a résumé), Japanese job applicants fill out a standardized form called a 履歴書 rireki-sho or work and education record which shows their entire background at a glance. During the interview process, applicants are encouraged to show humility about their past achievements, downplaying everything they've done with their lives and suppressing their personality in ways no American could manage. The rule appears to be, the person who shows the least personality during the interview process will be the one to get the job

Newton discovered the Law of Gravity. Just what is it? Is it as simple as, "Things tend to fall downward?" Of course people knew that things fall downward, ever since there were people. Newton never mentioned being hit on the head by an apple, but he did say that he saw an apple fall. Maybe the moon was in the sky at the time, maybe not. But when Newton saw the apple fall, and thought about it, his great insight was that he saw that the same thing that caused the apple to fall (gravity) was what held the moon in its orbit.

While the top trends are no big surprise, the most Googled models might be. In a year that arguably belongs to Kendall Jenner, it’s actually Kate Upton who heads the list of the top 20 fashion models. She’s followed by Kendall Jenner, at number two, then Miranda Kerr, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen, and Kate Moss. Although it’s assumed that fellow Insta-girl models would clock in high on the list like Jenner, they came in unexpectedly low. Gigi Hadid was the eighth most-searched, followed by Karlie Kloss at nine and Hailey Baldwin at 15. But perhaps most shockingly, they all beat out Cara Delevingne, who came in at number 16.
Six months after abruptly removing its founder, Dov Charney, as chief executive, American Apparel chose the longtime retail executive Paula Schneider as its new leader.
“I’m proud of what I created at American Apparel and am confident that, as its largest shareholder, I will have a strong relationship with the company in the years ahead,” Mr. Charney said in a statement sent through a representative.
“Naturally, I am disappointed with the circumstances and my over 25 years of deep passion and commitment for American Apparel will always be the core DNA of the company,” he said. “I wish the company continued success.”
A spokesman for the company declined to comment. Mr. Charney has been a consultant to the company during his suspension, a relationship that will end with the appointment of Ms. Schneider.
