A few days ago a famous friend asked me what she could do to look better...my answer, if you fix your ears through plastic surgery,pin them back than you will look much better as because of your profession your hair is always slicked back....I was greeted with ice silence..so the moral of this short story,,do not ask if you do not think you will like the answer from a perfectionist.

There are certain things I will never understand about Japan, like their fascination with the number of creases a person has in their eyelids. Eyes that are 二重 futae, with two eyelid creases resulting in a larger "gaijin-style" look, are said to be preferable to 一重 hitoe, eyes with only one eyelid crease creating narrower "Asian" eyes.
