If you know me and if you follow this blog you know that I am always touting Bal Harbour Shops and its surroundings...

About ten miles north of busy South Beach are the small towns of Bal Harbour and Surfside.  Bal Harbour is known for its luxurious shopping and exquisite dining while Surfside is more casual and family-friendly.  These oceanfront towns have a strong sense of community. Vintage homes and oceanfront condos are mixed together in a tranquil neighborhood setting with plenty of entertainment options in town.

Even the parking lot is a showroom.

Though Surfside may seem so casual, residents still live in luxury.

The most beautiful woman in the world according to the Miss Universe was chosen today and like I have told KC and others that sometimes in normal places you see women that surpass Miss Universe, case in point.....a few weeks ago I was at Books and Books at Bal Harbour with the Jewish Princess and as we were paying for the books and magazines  the cashier was a beauty like I have never seen before.....her enormous blue eyes, her brown latina skin, her body and her mix of races were WOW and I rarely get impressed......moral of the story, Beauty is all around...........

If you haven’t learned by now, “Spanglish” is the unofficial language of Miami. You can actually flip between English and Spanish in one sentence, and that's totally acceptable. However, if you're not from Miami, you will be terribly confused.

a little take on Japan-日本,

  "A child who can do 挨拶 aisatsu properly will not stray as he goes through life." On its surface aisatsu just means "greeting," such as saying good morning to people you meet every day, though as with many aspects of Japan, things get a little more complex. Because the junior member of a relationship (the 後輩kohai, if in a school or company setting) is supposed to greet the higher-ranking member (先輩 senpai, or bosses/managers) first, this greeting effectively reinforces the relationship and allows the junior group member to show respect to the senior member. Another application of aisatsu is something like "official greetings after a happy event," and every New Years Day the Japanese get into the car and visit with various family members.
