A friend asked me if i miss Miami Beach....my answer is no, we will be back in October when is the best time to be there....if you know...October to February is the best time to be there.....very few hoi polloi..........and i am always raving about Bal Harbour and Surfside........

And although Jewish delis, ice cream shops, and art deco structures still line Harding Avenue from 88th to 96th Streets, a wave of new development has made this the coolest new beach in South Florida. A new Four Seasons opened this spring around the historical Surf Club, a Mediterranean-revival villa built in the 1930s by Harvey Firestone. It's now the centerpiece of the new resort, which along with the new FENDI Chateau have brought an upscale vibe to Surfside.

Over the years I've learned a few things about the Japanese people. They are hardworking, honest and very punctual. They also love to line up for things. If a Japanese person is walking down the street and sees people lined up to buy something -- takoyaki or Belgian waffles perhaps -- there's a good chance they'll stop what they were doing and get in line, too. It seems there's something innately fun about standing in line to buy something, and the general rule is that the longer the wait at a restaurant is, the better the food will be -- and if no customers are waiting to eat, it's a sign that the food isn't very good. (Similarly, Japanese will avoid going to a restaurant that only has a few cars in the parking lot, but are happy to stop if the parking lot is full of cars.)
BEAUTY
I am all for the perfection of the Victoria's Secret and their Angels - thin, beautiful and ideal key ingredients in which I live under. Everyone is individually beautiful, but my peeve is the false beauty and untamed perfection of these Angels. Flawless is what they are not. They all have done extensive plastic surgery and are enhanced in their photos to what the image Victoria's Secret want to project. There is nothing wrong with that but do explain, that many times the perception of this girls is not reality.......sans maquillage they are nothing to write home about
