Born Issur Danielovitch in Amsterdam, New York, to Yiddish-speaking Jewish parents Bryna and Herschel Danielovitch from the Mogilev region of Belarus, his career spanned 87 films — 73 big screen features and 14 on television.
He was a legendary actor, a proud Jew and a great friend to Israel!
