I am in Santa Monica.....and before Shabbat starts I will be out of surgery...a little retouch on my face....
Laure Heriard Dubreuil is a fashion businesswoman with an artistic soul. In college she studied economics at the Paris Dauphine University and went to Shanghai to learn Mandarin before eventually moving on to the Fashion Institute of Technology for a merchandising degree. From there the Parisian bore Dubreuil gained priceless in house experience working first in the merchandising department at Balenciaga during the Nicholas Ghesquière years and then at Yves Saint Laurent while Stefano Pilati was in power.
Here eclectic career path ended up being the perfect training ground for Dubreuil to launch the multi brand luxury stores The Webster in Miami and at Bal Harbour Shops. The CEO’s cultivated luxury taste, which mixes tent pole fashion brands with up and coming designers, has made The Webster stores among the most influential fashion shops.
I don't know how the future generation will evolve and grow, how the film industry will change in the coming years, but I pray for a renaissance. I hope to one day go to the theater and find myself so moved by what I see that I start applauding as the credits roll. Maybe I can clap myself back to life like Tinker Bell. Maybe we all can. While celebrity is a killer, it also serves a purpose. Our film and our stars didn't just give us something to look up to or aspire to, but they taught us to relate-- to look outside ourselves and find the beauty in others. I was not alive when Marilyn was. But I still miss her. And I'm angry that she's gone because, in some ways, I feel that the things that killed her are the very things currently controlling us. Excess. Politics. Desperation. Corruption. Abuse.

Body Language: Do You Mean What You Say?
The right body language is hard to master.
We can say things we do not mean and it is not always by speaking out of turn.
Being aware of our body language makes all the difference.
I know we "do not" judge by appearance but in reality we often do. We might forget to smile, be caught unawares but it does not mean we are unhappy. How often we cross our arms out of habit and can appear forbidding? We are not, we are a way of feeling protected and comfortable. This kind of body language gives the wrong impression and sends unintentional messages of negativity. None of us want that.
Couples have their own dance, their own body language that makes them a team. Often the body language is an indicator of how together they really are.
Have American men always been fascinated by Russian women?
Maybe its a legacy from the cold war, the forbidden fantasy of "sleeping with the enemy"?
Maybe its the impression Russian women make on American media as Victoria's Secret Angels and James Bond girls?
