I have related many times how some Jews are ashamed of being Jewish and change their last names, and it is a pity. And some change it because of the aesthetics ..this comes to mind, the real last name of Ralph Lauren(of Polo fame-) was, is (lipschitz)...according to Mr Lauren's book he changed his name because kids in school would make fun of him.

I finally figured out why the forums call her ABL. it stands for AstroBoy Lady! Here she is again, amongst crimson-lipped ladies with her dusky lilac velvet dress and shocking orange matching shoe-and-Hermes Bolide combination. Don't forget the gigantic jewelry and Astroboy.

a little take on Japan-日本,

 "A child who can do 挨拶 aisatsu properly will not stray as he goes through life." On its surface aisatsu just means "greeting," such as saying good morning to people you meet every day, though as with many aspects of Japan, things get a little more complex. Because the junior member of a relationship (the 後輩kohai, if in a school or company setting) is supposed to greet the higher-ranking member (先輩 senpai, or bosses/managers) first, this greeting effectively reinforces the relationship and allows the junior group member to show respect to the senior member. Another application of aisatsu is something like "official greetings after a happy event," and every New Years Day the Japanese get into the car and visit with various family members,

I do not want to rain on anyone's parade but after you are thirty years of age you should no longer buy the expensive beauty creams that are over the counter ie in fancy stores: Bergdorf, Saks, Barneys just to name a few.....you need to get them from Doctors(plastic surgeons) or Dermatologists who specialise in beauty and are licensed to give you stronger creams and potions.

However this products are very good for over the counter.......

Her Highness visits the traditional souk in Fez, Morocco during her private visit 29/3/13. She was rocking the traditional Moroccan cape/burnoose, still dressing mono-chromatically. She loves to inject the local culture into her outfit.

Style is a quality that we all would like to possess and yet style is not instictive or intrinsic to all.

What makes Coco Chanel so stylish in the image above?

It’s not the pencil skirt and fine cashmere sweater, as lovely as they are.

For me, it is the belt slightly skewed, the necklace and in particular the pair of cuff bracelets.

That’s the edge, that’s the personal flair, the fashion style.

I’m not a huge fan of Silicon Valley. It reminds me so much of Hollywood and the movie and TV industry.

In Hollywood every one will talk and listen to you about your project.  But while they are standing there, right in front of you, they are not looking at you. They are looking past you to the next project where they can raise/sell more.  Where they can be a bigger star. There is always a bigger fish. Who ever is standing in front of them is hopefully just the bait.
Silicon Valley has become the exact same thing these days. No one wants to literally start from scratch in a garage and build something. No one wants to bootstrap a business to profitability.  Those are such archaic notions these days.
