✡ Shabbat Shalom ✡ and a safe and happy Shavout! Let us hope and pray for quiet and take some solace in knowing that..
“עַל חוֹמֹתַיִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִַם הִפְקַדְתִּי שֹׁמְרִים, כָּל הַיּוֹם וְכָל הַלַּיְלָה.”

Shavuot 2016 begins in the evening of
Saturday, June 11
and ends in the evening of
Monday, June 13

I wish all of  readers of the Tidbits Chag Shavuot Sameach —a pleasant and enjoyable holiday surrounded by family and friends
May we all have a meaningful and personally inspiring Shavuos. And, while we’re at it, let us understand the deeper meaning of bosor v’cholov… by enjoying that cheesecake.

Limi-T 21 - No Te Olvidaré

And as I mentioned many times before this is how you should wear all black but with
beige or brown shoes.....chic muy chic....

When the fashion gods showered style upon the earth, these ladies were sitting in the front row. I love how unapologetic they seem. Like fashion is just a natural thing, one that we should all enjoy. If only I can walk the streets in these and not get second looks. As if I can afford all those designer clothes they're wearing! As if!
My favorite of the lot, Miroslava Duma and Vika Gazinskaya. Spell fashion-forward. They leave me with the thought that there are still women that care how they look and dress

Loyalty is rare, if you find it keep it......

AAAAAHHHHHHH#I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THEM IN JANUARY

why haven't you ever seen a Lamborghini commercial before? Because the
people who can afford them aren't sitting around watching television.

Retain : People that inspire you
Delete:  People who only care about names, surnames and hypes.
Retain: Books that make you see life through different eyes.
Delete: Situations that make you lose time, money and morale

People hate you for 1 of 3 reasons

1. They hate themselves
2. They want to be you
3. They see you as threat

I've never said I 'hate' anyone because that would imply I had any emotion
for them whatsoever.
And hate is not a word that exists in my vocabulary....
Silence for haters is the best answer

Last weekend a French Female friend of the Goldsteins got married.  The bride wore a custom-made dress by Karl Lagerfeld, with a reception frock by  Christopher Kane.

Inspired by her amazing bridal style, I decided to refresh the wedding vocab en français...

Bride: La Mariée
Groom: Le Marié
Wedding Dress: La Robe de Mariée
Wedding Ring: Le Bague de Mariage

And yes, never invite me to your wedding for all the fancy or normal I have

"Love lasts about five years. That’s how long it takes for the cells of the body to totally replace themselves."

I love how oil wells look in the distance and in the immediate distance too

THE ADVENTURES OF PEEPY AND LADY LEE..........

a little take on Japan-日本,

Now it's time for a Japanese lesson, with some fun words you might be able to make use of someday. There's a class of single-word phrases which, for some reason, have many possible translation paths in English, making them challenging (but fun) to use. First there's やはり yahari (it also shows up as やっぱり yappari quite commonly), which you use to express your own expectations about something, roughly equivalent to "I knew it" or "just as I thought." When someone tells you something you didn't know, you can use なるほど naruhodo (nah-roo-ho-doh), which means "I see" or "that's news to me." If you watch an hour of anime in Japanese, you'll likely hear the phrase まさか masaka (mah-sah-kah) at least once, usually said by a shocked character -- it just means "it can't be!" or "you've got to be joking!"

a took these pics of RM a few moons ago and yes, I am not such a good photographer(smiles)

BEAUTY

Cheeks

Santa Monica plastic surgeon Chia Chi Kao’s endoscopic Ponytail Facelift involves very little cutting and virtually no pulling. Kao re-drapes skin and soft tissue vertically and uses tiny stitches to tighten underlying muscles. He then contours and volumizes with a fine layer of regenerative-cell-rich fat taken from the patient’s own body.

MY PARTING SHOTS

Remembering a special friend  She died at dawn on February 24, 2012, in Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo, of complications from lung cancer

DASLU -ELIANA MARIA PIVA DE ALBUQUERQUE TRANCHESI

I had meant to mention this earlier but it is at this time of a new secular year coming up that I would like to mention her untimely death......for those who do not know, here is a bit about her:
Eliana was as impressive as her name and reputation, both of which were not only renowned in Brasil but across the whole fashion world. In her heyday her voluptuous curves and cascading blonde hair, as well as her clothes (frequently including fur) which she wore with such panache, made her an immediately recognisable high-fashion figure at the shows of the great designers in Paris and Milano, where she was always shown the respect given to only a few fashion retailers........rest in peace dear friend and by the way I always told her she was a JEW in another life as she was so shrewd and Furba.........and her store concept of Daslu will always live on.....

inside Daslu -Dasluzettes,

and her concept was copied later by Villa Moda in Kuwait and other places in the Middle East and around the world.........

Sharing names that both sound alike, both women are princesses in their own craft - Kim Yuna with ice skating and Younha with music and her role "Cinderella."

The ancient Romans dined on macaroni and considered it a gift from the gods.

Well,  the Kardashians are not
one my modern role models and I am not their demographic.

There are some tastes and smells that never grow old or un-loved.
Fig is one of them.
I love their succulence and generosity, their sweetness and texture.

Water is not only the source of life, but in human nature, a vital role within belief, myth and history. Civilizations flourished along rivers of Persia, China and Egypt. The purifying powers of water are still used within Indian culture as thousands of people pay pilgrimage to the Ganges River to this day. Water is such a strong part of our nature that our ancestors revered and respected it through the god of water. Poseidon, Neptune, Njord, Yam, and so on, humans recognised water’s power to create and destroy. All in all, to create balance.
