"For truth is always strange; stranger than fiction." Lord Byron

"Hear O Israel, the Lord our G-d, the Lord is One."
Shema Yisrael are the first two words of a section of the Torah and is the title of a prayer that serves as a centerpiece of the morning and evening Jewish prayer services.

While Thanksgiving is not a traditional Jewish holiday, it definitely reflects many of our Jewish beliefs and traditions......So Happy Kosher Thanksgiving!

I LIVE THE LIFE I LOVE. I LOVE THE LIFE I LOVE. WELCOME TO MY DIARY OF CHIC

Yesterday morning I was driven to the St Regis Bal Harbour where I started my daily walk and finished it at one of my favorite places.....the News Cafe in South Beach....it was a great walk and on my walk I passed some latina women celebs doing their own walking....walking here is different from BH but the visuals are so gorgeous here too............

yes I am impartial as my late father was born here.
Ode to Paris.
An eternal love was born here, between you and me.
City of lights who saw me transition from curious and stronger . I will never leave you behind. And I will love every second. I will always cherish the days we have spent together and will always be looking forward for the ones to come.
Always strong and always so unique.

NEW YORK AND PARIS STYLE: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

You can always recognize a New York woman by…
The green juice in her hand. And her big sunglasses.
You can always recognize a Parisian woman by…
Her bedhead.
New York girls learn about style from…
Magazines, like Teen Vogue.
Parisian girls learn about style from…
People they admire.

Every New York woman has…
Sneakers for everyday life and a great big coat for parties.
Every Parisian woman has…
Simple cotton underwear, and red lipstick for fancy nights out.
In New York, women dress for…
Other women.
In Paris, women dress for…
Men.

A song that captures the spirit of New York style is…
“She Belongs to Me,” by Bob Dylan.

A song that captures the spirit of Parisian style is…
“Il Est Cinq Heure Paris S’Γ©veille,” by Jacques Dutronc.

Eric Burdon:
" It's a hard world to get a break in
All the good things have been taken
But girl there are ways to make certain things pay
Though I'm dressed in these rags, I'll wear
sable some day. "

and here is Mira Duma wearing sable...it is my favorite fur....

What a cute pose she is giving, right?! Actually, I can say that sable is a close relative of marten, which you may have come across more easily (since it is more affordable). Sable comes in two distinct types. One is the Russian sable,as you see on Mira, in very dark brown-chestnut color. The other is Canadian or golden sable, which is lighter in colour, in a golden yellow. What makes Russian sable invaluable is its incredible softness and "dense" touch. Moreover it has a very rich color palette, browns, chestnut, mocha, etc. The most valuable Russian sable is known as Barguzin sable.

I don’t care what anyone says, brilliance is sexy. Intelligence is sexy. Maturity is sexy. Having a mentality stimulating conversation is sexy. Have a great body is good, being fit is good, health is important. Charm is nice. But intelligence, my G-d, intelligence is absolutely sexy.

a little take on Japan-ζ—₯本,

Fall is my favorite time of year in Japan. The weather is nearly always pleasant, and there's nothing like going for a drive up Mt. Haruna to take in the beauty of the leaves as they change color. Enjoying the changing of the leaves in the fall is almost as important as cherry blossoms to the Japanese, and the TV news publishes reports on where the leading edge of the color change is each week. Certain areas in Japan, like Kyoto and Nikko(a pleasant collection of temples and pagodas north of Tokyo, and the origin of the "see no evil, speak no evil" monkeys) are so popular as tourist destinations in the fall it's all but impossible to get near. Autumn is known as minori no aki, shokuyoku no aki or "the season of harvest, the season of hearty appetites,

Adding shine and volume to hair is something most of us try on a daily basis.
It is much harder to pump up the volume if hair is fine and straggly.
The truth is a good hair day changes the way we feel and think about ourselves and gives us an extra dose of self-confidence.

It made me cry.......Am Yisrael Chai........
“The film reflects a period of history that is still with so many Israelis as they go to sleep and wake up every day. It’s something they tell their kids and grand kids about. So much has happened in the world since then, but Israel has stood strong throughout,”

“On The Map” opens in Los Angeles on November 25 and in New York on December 9.
