Selena Quintanilla-Perez was and continues to be an icon within the Latino community. Unfortunately, as Selena embarked on her venture to cross over into American pop culture, her life was cut short by a former employee.

As the collection they are queueing for is a heavily branded one I couldn’t help but think about “How to be Parisian”. In this book, published in September 2014, French model Caroline de Maigret calls on people not to wear logos. Don’t wear logos you are not a billboard! Kind of confusing, isn’t it? So what about logos at the moment are they in style or a thing of yesterday?

Venezuelans will tell you that one advantage they have in the beauty game is their exotic mixture of
 people and races. The country boasts Mediterranean, northern European, African and indigenous 
bloodlines.

 who train at his school get plastic surgery.

Dr. Petr Romer is the official plastic surgeon to the Miss Venezuela Pageant and -- not surprisingly -- 
one of the most popular plastic surgeons in Caracas. Romer said he did some discreet nips, 
tucks and lifts on about half of the 20 Miss Venezuela finalists, including five nose jobs, 
six breast implants and three liposuctions.

2008 Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza sculpted her way to her title last year. 
It has been reported that Miss Mendoza had the tip of her nose reshaped, implants
 and liposuction to remove fat around her knees.

Each year hundreds of women flock to his boot camp in the hopes of being the next 
Miss Venezuela. Sousa and his team of personal trainers, dental surgeons, and plastic surgeons
 put the women through a grueling three to six month program to make them into a Barbie doll.

Even though we all not for plastic surgery ,I think these women should inspire us to take care 
of ourselves . It is also possible to look beautiful without any surgery all you need
 to do is take care of your skin, exercise, eat healthy and groom yourself whenever you can, 
its important to go for regular facials, manis and pedis, and hair treatments too, 
and the great thing is you can do it yourself.

 It’s one thing to see street style photos of Ulyana Sergeenko at Fashion Week, and it’s another to be able to watch the street style queen in a video. Back in march of 2012, Ulyana posed for GQ magazine Russia, and I recently discovered a video of her behind the scenes at the photo shoot. She looks so regal, just as she does in photos, but she reveals more of her provocative side too. The video below will give you one more reason to love her!!

I have been meaning to write about the art of the thank you for some time.

I am worried that, “thank you” is loosing puff… being forgotten or relegated to one of those meaning-to-do jobs.

This upsets me.

I am a great believer in the power of those two small words.

They won’t change the world but they do make it a more gentle and civilized place.

Saying thank you is easy, it’s fast and it costs nothing… What is difficult about that?
