Être élégant, c’est tout.

Fourteen years ago, Louis Vuitton launched a series of bags that would dramatically elevate the status of the brand’s staid Monogram canvas. And all it took was to deface the signature fabric with graffiti writing. Today, scribbled text across perfectly respectable surfaces continue to make loud fashion statements

Technology in Global investment banking has gone from a cost to a possible Necessary savior.
The banks That Get Their technology strategy right will stay profitable at a time When sluggish overall growth, low interest rates and ever-developing regulations are hitting the bottom line

Terrifying and Amazing

Lots of smart people did this in anticipation of Brexit -Short-sellers bet that a stock will decline. They profit from this view by borrowing shares (at a small cost) and selling them at a high price. The idea is that, once the share price falls, the investor can buy them back cheaper and pocket the difference.

Botticelli

Money never sleeps............

Why I write often in many languages?. because I think, speak and express myself in many languages.........and there are certain words, passages, sentences that if translated into English would lose their original meaning. Is like Eros Ramazzotti singing in Spanish " Più Bella Cosa" it loses the essence when Italian is the original....or Roberto Carlos singing "Amor Perfeito" in another language when Portugese is it , it loses meaning too.....and so on with other languages and artists.

Money, brings "a false sense of security. Sometimes you have so much money you believe you can't even die[sic}....

“It” girls: Get “tons” of sleep, entertain “constantly,” and “be yourself.” Oh, and this: “When you’re trying on clothes, look at yourself sitting down and look at your reflection from the back side

9 Things You Never Knew About Birkin Bags
Even the most educated shoppers will be surprised

1. A Birkin sold in four minutes at auction for $300,168. The matte Himalayan crocodile edition, purchased by a private collector at Christie’s Hong Kong, featured white-gold details and 245 F-color diamonds.
2. Hermès never mass produces its bags. Instead, each one is handmade by a craftsman.
3. The bag takes over 18 hours to make. The artisans work on one bag from start to finish, rather than performing a step of the process and passing it off.
4. Each craftsman trains for three to four years before making bags. They can pick the bags they worked on out of the lineup.
5. Each craftsman has his or her own set of tools for making Hermès bags. They take these tools with them when they retire.
6. Imperfect bags are not sold in stores. Bags with imperfections get used in displays but do not make it to consumers.
7. “A Birkin bag is a better investment than the stock market,” according to The New York Times. A study revealed that the bag’s value increases by about 14.2% per year.
8. Hermès started as a saddle and harness maker. Artisans use “saddle stitching” in the creation of the brand’s bags.
9. The Hermès boxes weren’t always orange. After WWII, the brand started using orange boxes due to a scarcity of materials.

"LIFE" ...... IS BEAUTIFUL EACH DAY , EACH HOUR , EACH MINUTE , AND EACH SECOND , WHICH IS NOT GOING TO RETURN , SO ENJOY EVERY MOMENT AND LIVE EVERY SECOND

 "JUST ENJOY TODAY"

a little take on Japan-日本,

Before eating, Japanese always say 頂きます itadakimasu, which is a very polite way of saying "I receive this," a Buddhist phrase which is essentially thanking the animal that died so you could eat its meat. In the final days of December Japanese will do 大掃除 oh-souji or "big cleaning," making sure their house is cleaned from top to bottom so they can enter the new year with a clean plate, and sure enough, this tradition evolved from the custom of cleaning the local Buddhist temple for New Year's. Finally, the Japanese word for a contrarian who doesn't like popular things or who goes out of his way to appear aloof around others is あまのじゃく amanojaku, and it turns out this name comes from a Buddhist deity who is basically a devil known for finding out what people are most interested in then tempting with it, for his own mischievous enjoyment.

BEAUTY

womans-face-rx.jpg

We should be happy when celebrities who have good plastic surgery results actually admit to the procedure. The newly crowned Miss California readily admits.
The encouraging portion of the story is not the fact that she applauds plastic surgery, but more the fact that the rhinoplasty procedure that she had performed made a substantial difference in her life and appearance....and the buccal fat pad removal really helped too.

The “Selfie”- Self Examination, Self Agrandisation or Self Delusional?

Van Gogh indulged, albeit with a little less public fanfare and a lot more blood.

Whilst most modern day selfies aren’t entirely lauded for their artistic merits there is the argument that if [insert name of famous artist from yesteryear] could, then surely so can anyone who has a decent camera phone?
I’m sorely tempted to say;
“No!! There’s a chasm of difference between sitting in front of a mirror for hours, painting your minds interpretation of your outer self and snapping a grainy picture of your abs so random strangers can comment on how hot your are… or not?

Climate change ie...global warming is the biggest scam in the history of the world – a $1.5 trillion-a-year conspiracy against the taxpayer, every cent, penny and centime of which ends in the pockets of the wrong kind of people, none of which goes towards a cause remotely worth funding, all of it a complete and utter waste.

This is a typical bus ride in Jerusalem. Jews from secular to ultra orthodox, from soldiers to parents, Sephardic to Ashkenazi, alongside Muslims and Arabs. Where else in the Middle East do you see this freedom and diversity? This is Israel.
