Yom Yerushalayim, or Jerusalem Day, is celebrated each year on the 28th day of Iyar, 6 weeks after the Pesach seder.

Celebrations include the annual March to the Kotel along with the Flag Parade and Rikud Degalim (‘flag dance’).

Shavua Tov! Yom Yerushalayim is finally here…the day where we celebrate the reunification of Jerusalem under Jewish control after over 2,000 years of separation is upon us.

Friday I had an incredible walk in this fantastic exotic place.....and while doing my daily two hour walk I listened to Alex Sensation and his mega mezcla (mix) of Reggaeton, followed by a Bachata mix and a Merengue mix....it was so so good....and I love how Alex Sensation makes comments and sometimes sings along the mixes....his station again can be heard on  the OO Tunes App ( 97.9FM La Mega 97.9 New York City)

Facebook (FB) founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg celebrates his 31st birthday today. What a year he’s had – not many people make $1.2 billion on their birthday.Shares of the No. 1 social media company jumped $2.93, or 3.7%, to $81.37 Thursday. That’s a $1.2 billion gain for Zuckerberg, who owns 426.3 million shares.
And my only interest on Facebook is the  stock price.......

I often think of the phrase ‘false humility’ whenever I see people carry Damier canvas because in their minds, they WANT something that screams “LOUIS VUITTON” but without the monograms so it’s kind of like counterproductive. Talk about a whole new level of cray. If you’re gonna go for Vuitton, go for the kill. More is more, pile on the logos, pile on the monograms. It doesn’t hurt to be obnoxious from time to time.

Yom Yerushalayim

Today we celebrate one of the greatest miracles of recent years. After 2000 away from our eternal capital, the holy city of Jerusalem, our soldiers recaptured it in what can only be described as one of the most miraculous wars ever, the Six Day War.

Yom Yerushalayim is the day when we rejoice in our country, our capital city and appreciate the presents that Hashem gave to us. We are able to pray at the Kotel Hamaaravi, the Western Wall and we are once again able to live and learn in the city which is steeped in thousands of years of our people’s history.

It is a day of true celebrations and thanksgiving to Hashem.

The native name of Israel is Yisrae'el
